YOUR INVITATION TO A MORNING OF FRIENDSHIP, PRAYER AND BREAKFAST

We are inviting you all to a morning of breakfast and prayer to thank the Lord for His guiding hand that has led us to many opportunities to meet with our neighbours in Woking. Invitations to the local mosques for Iftaar during Ramadan and the meeting of hundreds of women over craft during summer events are just some things to praise Him for.

We will continue to pray for His guidance on how He is leading us to continue meeting and loving our neighbours and we would love you to come along and share your prayers of petition and thanksgiving over a relaxed and informal breakfast.

Interfaith Football Event

Would You Like to Join the Across Football Team?

Woking People of Faith along with Woking Borough Council and the Surrey Muslim Association are planning an Interfaith Football Tournament for the over 16’s on Saturday 30 June at Winston Churchill School from 9.45 to 3pm. Lunch will be provided.

Cross cultural relations are healthy in Woking because of peace loving Christians and Muslims engaging with each other through friendship and events such as these and we at Across, whose mission is to ‘Build Bridges Across Cultures’ see this as a great opportunity to build on that.

So if you are over 16 (no limit on upper age!!) and happy to kick a ball around for a few hours, please come and be part of the Across Football team.

Across will be sponsoring the team so there will no charge to sign up. We just need a team of 6 plus a substitute. (Girls are also welcome) so do respond so we can put a team together.

We look forward to your support.

If you would like to be part of that craft team, and chat with the mainly Muslim women who take part, then do let us know. Conversations are the starting point of friendship and sharing the love of Christ with others.
