Our next Mahabba Meal welcomes Asif who will be joining us to talk from his personal experiences in ministry and his insight into the cost of discipleship and responsibility of the church. This event is a sit down Indian meal with stories to inspire us, in between courses.

Friends International Guildford will be joining us to give an update and lead us to pray for the many international students at Surrey University. Friends International is a local Christian charity, which aims to support internationals to build friendships with other students, make local links with families and explore life in the UK.

We will be joining our friends at the Salvation Army to prayer walk around the Goldsworth Park area, as the Bangladeshi Muslim community gather for Friday prayers at the Lakeview centre.

Ramadan is considered to be a significant month, when Muslims seek to draw closer to Allah. We will be praying that their prayers to deepen their understanding of God, will lead them to a revelation from Him.

We will meet outside the entrance of the Salvation Army. Please note that the car park will be busy with cars parked by Muslims attending Friday prayers.

Ifthar is the meal eaten by Muslims after sunset during the month of Ramadan to break the day's fast. This is an open invitation from our friends at Shah Jahan mosque, for Muslims and non-Muslims to take part. 

Women please be respectful to the Islamic culture by covering your legs and coming with a head covering (scarf). (Romans 14:14 - "I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.")

Muslims are fasting during Ramadan and the ‘Night of Power’ is a special night in the calendar. Lailat al Qadr, the Night of Power, marks the night in which the Qur'an was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad by Allah. Because of this, many Muslims will treat the last 10 days of the month of Ramadan as a particularly good time for prayer and reading the Qur'an.

We have organised a PRAYER WALK on this night, commencing from St Paul’s Church to pray for the POWER of the Holy Spirit to fall upon our dear Muslim neighbours. Please join us.
